Basic Farm Animal Feed Mix

✔️ Ingredients

• Pacific Organic Feed Rye Berries – 5 lb
• Pacific Organic Feed Oat Groats – 5 lb
• Cracked corn – 3 lb
• Cracked barley – 1 lb
• Soybean meal (or other protein supplement) –  1 lb
• Mineral/salt mix – 0.50 lb
• (Optional) Alfalfa pellets or ground hay –  1 lb
  

✔️ Instructions

1. Lightly crack or soak the rye Berries and oats to improve digestibility.
2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
3. Store in a dry place and always provide fresh water when feeding.

✔️ Feeding Guidelines

• Cattle & sheep: Replace about 10–20% of the daily ration
• Pigs: Up to 20–40% depending on growth stage
• Chickens & ducks: Keep it under 10–20% of total feed

⚠️ Notes

• Introduce gradually to avoid digestive issues
• Rye should not be overfed (can reduce digestibility)
• Use alongside regular feed and forage (hay/grass)
• Keep dry to prevent mold
